Update #1@anushree
Put the basic structure of the project down today. Two halves: a Next.js app under my-app for the interface, and a Hardhat workspace under contracts for the Solidity side. The idea I want to test is whether a prediction market can feel like a game rather than a form. Everything
Update #2@anushree
Deployment scripts now handle more than one chain, so we are not tied to a single testnet while we work out where this lives. On the frontend the first version of the price graph is in and the home background is redone around it. Seeing real price action move on the screen makes
Update #3@anushree
Worked through the first round of contract fixes and merged the branch back in. Nothing glamorous — getting the round logic to behave the way the interface assumes it does.
Update #4@anushree
The core interaction works. Drag on the right to size your position, tap on the left to place the prediction. No menus, no modal, no confirmation step. This is the thing the whole product rests on, so it took a few attempts to get the feel right.
Update #5@anushree
A run of interface work tonight. Prediction blocks now render inside the betting area on the graph — there is a slight delay when they appear that I want to come back to. Added the price axis down the y-side so you can actually read what you are betting on. Then built the win an
Update #6@anushree
Session storage is updated and the structural work is done. This is the ERC-7715 piece — a trader signs once to unlock a session and then places predictions inside it without another wallet pop-up. Also fixed button alignment and header sizing while I was in there. Small things,
Update #7@anushree
Spent the afternoon on how the graph moves. Smoothness matters more than I expected — a chart that stutters makes a 30-second round feel unreliable even when the underlying settlement is fine.
Update #8@anushree
Build was broken, now fixed. API fix landed on top of it and the branch is merged. Everything holds together: place a prediction by tapping the chart, no pop-up after the first signature, gas covered by the paymaster, round resolves in under half a second.
Update #9@anushree
Wrote the ReadMe. Three friction points we set out to remove: the signature on every trade, the need to hold a native token for gas, and the menu between you and the position. ERC-7715 handles the first, Pimlico's paymaster the second, and putting the action on the chart itself
